Chia Yoong Hui, a CPA(Aust.), is an accomplished entrepreneur who founded and successfully scaled a maritime technology company, leading it through market fit, global expansion, complex contract negotiations, and capital raising. This journey culminated in the acquisition of the company by a French publicly listed firm, where Chia played a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless post-merger integration.
Chia holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Business Computing with Financial Management from the University of Wales (1999) and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern Queensland (2005).
His achievements include being named EY Entrepreneur of The Year 2017 – Maritime Technology Solutions and receiving the Highly Commended International Alumnus award in 2018 from the University of Southern Queensland.
In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Chia contributes to the community as an advisory council member of the Australian Alumni Singapore, supporting the growth and collaboration of the alumni network.
